H.B. 1780  RELATING TO THE CONVENTION CENTER            ECD, WAM
HD1, SD1
(PROPOSED) Repeals the convention center authority on December 31, 2000;
        amends Hawaii tourism authority to manage the convention
        center.

2000.

H.B. 1944  RELATING TO PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY TAX       CPN/TIA, WAM
HD2, SD1
        Authorizes an apportionment of public service company taxes
        to the counties, in lieu of the authority to assess real
        property taxes on property owned by public utilities.  

H.B. 2447  RELATING TO THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT        CPN, WAM
SD1     SYSTEM
        
        Clarifies the calculation of excess income earnings of the
        Employees' Retirement System pursuant to Act 100, Session
        Laws of Hawaii 1999.  

 
 


 
H.B. 2458  RELATING TO THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT        CPN, WAM
SD1     SYSTEM
        
        Lowers state and county employer contributions to the ERS by
        extending the payment schedule for the actuarial present
        value cost of the early retirement incentive bonus from 5
        years to 19 years beginning July 1, 1997. 

H.B. 2023  RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL INFRASTRUCTURE      ECD, WAM
HD2, SD1
        Provides a tax credit for agricultural infrastructure
        investments and for drought mitigation water storage
        facility.  

Persons wishing to submit testimony should submit 40 copies to the
committee clerk, Room 213, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing.

please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.
